2022-Present Day
Beginning my time in YWAM i did a DTS or Discipleship Training school in Kona, Hawaii. DTS is YWAM’s introductory training program. It is a full time program of learning who God made you to be (3 month lecture phase), and what He wants you to do while you serve in the nations (3 month outreach), all in a community environment.
I then did the school of biblical in lakeside Montana to be equipped on a biblical foundation going into the mission field. My classmates and I inductively studied through all 66 books of the bible. Observing the text, Interpreting it based off historical background/context and Applying it to our personal lives. This nine month school changed and transformed my life through getting a biblical worldview on God, myself and what we as believers are called to and continued to build my personal relationship with God through his word.
I had the privilege of returning to YWAM Montana Lakeside (training for 3 weeks) to then be sent to Southern Asia (outreach for 2 months). The purpose and vision of Titus is to train and send Bible teachers to disciple a new generation of believers who are discipled by and grounded in Biblical truth. Having finished SBS (school of biblical studies) I have been burdened with the desperate need for bible training in the global church.
Me and my team were able to work in a closed nation in southern Asia equipping pastors and church’s who don’t have access to bible training with the tools to further be grounded in biblical truth.
In the fall of 2025 i will be moving to the Himalayas!! I am so excited be joining the Fire and Fragrance YWAM Himalayas base to work with bible translation (OMT). Oral mother tongue translation is a movement to see every mother tongue in the world translated into the bible orally. If discipleship is based on the word of God but you don’t have the word of God in your language how can you grow in your faith and know how to follow Christ wholeheartedly? You cant. This is the situation that billions of believers/people around the world find themselves in.
I have felt an invitation from Jesus to say yes to practically helping this translation movement so more people can have a bible and bible training in their hands. I will be apart of leading bible studies, disciplining and living life with the Nepali translators. I am so excited to join in with what God is doing in Asia but also worldwide!
My lecture phase in Kona Hawaii was a time of personal growth and learning more about who God is and who he has made me to be. I learned so much about the heart of God and fell deeply in love with him. We had class several times a week on different topics and many times of worship prayer and celebration/fun as a community.
My time in the Philippines forever marked me. They say the nation of the Philippines is filled with endless smiles and I can say wholeheartedly that this is absolutely true. I was forever impacted by the softhearted hospitable people of this beautiful country. Our ministry mostly consisted of lots of house to house evangelism,
open air’s and feeding programs as well as many church empowerment
gatherings. We also went to the prisons and the red light district in Manila.
Romans 10:14-15
For nine months I have had the privilege of being able to inductively study the entire bible! I can say without a doubt it was the most important and impactful year of my life so far. The word that comes to mind is: Transformed “The process by which Christ is formed in us” I have been transformed in many ways by Gods word. This school was never just for my personal growth but actually so that I could take the truth or who God is and the gospel which has the power to set people free to a dying world. I wanted to be founded on biblical truth before going onto the mission field long-term. I met some lifelong friends and learned some lifelong truths that have forever changed me.
Titus project was my first step of my application after my SBS. My own heart had been transformed, now I wanted to bring bible training to the global church so others could be transformed as well. I learned so much in a span of three weeks all about what it means to be a teacher, how to properly prepare, present and teach a lecture. We also learned and practiced preparing and presenting lectures cross culturally with translators and in oral cultures. This outreach training in Montana was essential for us to properly be equipped to go overseas and know teach the bible well. This school had:
5 teams| 5 nations | 25 Bible teachers
trained and equipped to work with church leaders and church’s around the globe
Me and my team of three fellow bible teachers were able to go to the Himalayas for two months to work with pastors/church’s giving bible training on: The story of the bible and skills to properly study the bible. We were also able to give encouragement to persecuted believers. This nation in Asia has some of the most faith filled and devoted Christians and it was incredibly encouraging to see the gospel being spread amidst opposition. Seeing their love for God fueled me to love God deeper. I also gained me a deeper passion to go to the unreached with the gospel while being in a nation that is filled with beautiful people who have never heard the good news of Jesus.
Jesus’ command in Mark 16: 15
I had the privilege to lead a week long missions trip to Chicago with my church’s youth! We served in homeless shelters, soup kitchens and a veterans home! We also had multiple days where we were able to go into the streets of Chicago and give out encouragement notes, pray for people and hear their stories. The youth in our church grew in courage and saw the holy spirit touch people with his love and healing power both physically and
